All the way from Japan, Ceci and Han have travelled far to make this elopement happen.
Only love would drive people so crazy to have an wedding in Taronga Western Plains Zoo, 7 hours drive away from Sydney.
Elements were sourced from all over the world, suits from Japan, shoes from Europe, wedding dress from China, flowers from Australia and of course, animals from Africa. We finally made this happen in the one and only zoo with wild African animals running free.
We started to drive from 5am, arrived by noon.
Exhausted? Yes.
Excited? Hell YEAH!
Especially when we saw the animals parade, I have to say, it’s definitely not a scene that you can see everyday!
The shooting started straight after the makeup and hair. Time is quite limited, due to the day light saving. However, they still managed to have a beer and enjoy the parade while I made the magic happen. The photos turned out extraordinary.
In the customised vow, the theme is “what do you want to say to each other in 10 years”. Han said, “the past 10 years must have not been easy for you. Thank you for bearing with me for so long!” Ceci replied, “I am the one with the temper. It’s me who should say thank you! And I love you!” Oh man, this is the most romantic vows I’ve ever heard. Tears in eyes, literately.
Oh, one more thing, to match the zoo theme, Ceci also brought 2 animal masks. Panda for Han and fox for herself. Lol. How sweet and creative!
